La buvette des Mottets
La Buvette des Mottets is a small corner of paradise, situated at the foot of the majestic Drus, and above the end of the Mer de Glace in the Chamonix valley. The view is breathtaking to accompany your lunches and refreshment breaks. The big novelty since summer 2016 they are small transparent cocoons suspended in the trees. where you can spend a night under the stars! Originally, the Buvette des Mottets was a relay point for the organisation of mountain rescues. It was in 1984 that the hut became a refreshment point for skiers in the Vallée Blanche, and then opened during the summer for hikers and climbers.
Refuge Hotel Le Prarion
The Hotel Le Prarion is located at 1860 meters, above the village of Saint-Gervais, in a magnificent, sun-drenched setting. Opposite lies the majestic Mont-Blanc mountain range, and below, the valleys of Chamonix and Val Montjoie, with an unsurpassed view of the summits and glaciers. Le Prarion is also an ideal starting point for several mountain hikes and mountain-bike trails.
Refuge de Balme
The refuge is located on the French-Swiss border (but the door is in Switzerland). This austere but extremely warm chalet inside was built in 1877. It is currently being completely renovated and still welcomes the Tour du Mont Blanc walkers. From the village of Le Tour, in +/- 2h30 of walk by a good path passing by Charamillon, you can reach the refuge. It is also possible to reach it by gondola and then by chairlift and walk 10 minutes from the Col de Balme chairlift. Henri and his team will give you a warm welcome around delicious small dishes cooked on the spot.
Rifugio Montebianco (Courmayeur, Italy)
The Mont Blanc Refuge is a refuge located in the Aosta Valley, at the foot of Mont Blanc. At an altitude of 1700m in the wild Veny Valley, the refuge is easily accessible by car in summer and by ski and ski lift in winter. An excellent refreshment point in all seasons, in the large and bright dining room you can enjoy breakfasts, lunches and traditional dishes cooked with the best local ingredients, and dinners with à la carte menus. The ascent and descent by snowmobile in winter and the choice to spend a night at the refuge will become an experience for all.
